It’s been a while since I wrote anything, but wait, I’ve got a good reason. Back in December I started a playthrough of the Witcher series. It was a rather daunting undertaking (especially the third game) and I just finished it mid-March. After that I quickly played through Just Cause 3 (needed something completely brainless) and Telltale’s Game of Thrones (in preparation for the show to start again and it had been on my backlog for too long).
At the same time I’ve been catching up on TV shows (House of Cards season 4 and Daredevil season 2 (how awesome was that?!?)) and some movies (Deadpool and Batman vs Superman). So, I’ve got plenty I’d like to write about, but been having a bit of a hard time getting started on my post about the Witcher (so much to write, very daunting). So, I’ve decided to follow the advice and example of a good friends (Chordian of Chordian.net) and split it into several parts (like he did with his recent, excellent series about Risen). So, coming up next are separate posts about Witcher 1, 2 & 3 and if I still feel up to it after those are written I might even write a fourth post comparing the three games. In between the Witcher posts I might (or I might not) write some shorter movie and TV series reviews (or even book reviews), if I can just find the peace and quiet and right mood for sitting down in front of the computer and writing something.
